Horror Film Set for Studio

Sweet Bloody Murder is a new horror flick penned by Bryan Bishop and directed by Sam Raimi. So far the description from the producer indicates that all sorts of nasty things happen to some people because they accidentally killed someone. More to come when we hear about it. Release is set for July.

I guess it’s no secret that Miracle Pictures won a small bidding war for the rights to release Baseball Mogul’s The X-Files. Phaethon0017 has been tapped for web and creative. The studio itself has already posed a teaser ad on the main message board. Woo hoo! The studio is jazzed to see this one!

Not a Lot Goin’ On, But Enough For Us

It’s been a while since this has been updated. Let’s see if I can remember what’s been going on.

Uncle Artie’s was the last film we released. It’s still doing good numbers after several weeks. I don’t know if it will make $300 million domestically, but it’ll get close.

I have films by two producers in my possession, one of them on the calendar for June. Phaethon’s Plants vs. Zombies, with Larry the Cable Guy, should be a fun romp.

On the MP production side, the 5th week of It’s Always Me will air tonight. Our submissions for Muppet Tales and Horror Hour already aired. I enjoy doing IAM. People have no clue, haha. Misdirection is part of the fun.

I guess that’s about it. Summer’s here, so we had better pick up the pace to take advantage of the extra cash.

What’s Going On at MP

It’s been a while since this blog has been updated, so let’s toss in some info on what’s been going on.

Much of the Miracle Pictures activity has been on the production end. The biggest chunk of that is the HTG TV series It’s Always Me, now entering its second season. DRTV chief Quantum has moved the show to a later time. With the new buzz, returning fan base and that later time, it will be interesting to see how the show does.

Two producers have asked about helping with the Twilight Zone project that will hopefully arrive later this year. We’re waiting to see what the two can come up with.

Hmm. This is shorter than expected. Ha.

Two More For The Family

Announcements have been made in HTG news sources that two franchises have come to the Miracle Pictures family… Mystery Men and The Twilight Zone. Plans for the two properties have not been officially made.

As has been the policy for some time, any eager producer who has interest in producing something for any of the Miracle Pictures/Marlowe franchises can contact Marlowe.

Good Gross for MP Feature and TV Writing

Miracle Pictures is thrilled to learn that the first week domestic of Uncle Artie’s True Tales of American History was $80 million. With three other films garnering a total of $25 mil, it was indeed a good week for the studio. Changes occur with the release calendar concerning the next projects, but will indeed be ironed out as time goes on.

Recent concentration has been made on the production side of MP, with promises made for three HTGTV items… the company’s It’s Always Me on the top of the list. The installment for Ritchie Steven’s Horror Hour is near completion and the plot for Lucian’s Muppets show has been drawn up. With the next season opening soon, hopes are to be completed with time to spare.

This Week at MP

Grand Theft Dog has finally left theatres with $137,804,225 domestic gross. Thanks to Pedro and the gang at Baseball Mogul Productions.

Uncle Artie is finishing up its first week in release with positive word of mouth. The animation/family film is just one of three Will Ferrell movies opening in a four week period. When it rains, it pours.

Some conflicts of interest are preventing a solid release date announcement for the next Goose action flick. We’ve got to get that figured out!

HTGTV is just around the corner. Besides Miracle Pictures’ commitment to It’s Always Me, we’ve promised a segment for Ritchie Steven’s Hour Hour and Lucian’s Muppet Tales. Marlowe might have a busy week of writing around the corner.

Although we’re a little behind on updating this blog, Miracle Pictures continues working hard on a variety of projects.

Uncle Artie’s True Tales of American History is up for buzz vote. So far the word of mouth has been great. We’re keeping our fingers crossed.

JD has sent the first 40 pages of his Berlin noir, March Violets. New and interesting! Once this film is in the can, we’ll be on our way to another hit.

Other projects are in some form of production. More on them when something concrete is established.

Miracle Pictures films in release are doing very well! It’s always exciting to see a new box office report with an MP movie up there.

We posted an ad today for Uncle Artie, which opens on the 27th. Still looking for the right spot for Goose’s action movie, which will be in April. JD is still working on March Violets. I’ve got a solid eight pages on the Harmer action flick. There’s always something going on, it seems.
